4-Way to 7-Way Adapter Recommendation for a Trailer with 7-Way

Question:

Will this part work in reverse? i.e. connect a 4 pole connecter on the tow vehicle , a 2014 vw jetta sporstwagon, to a 7 pole connecter on the trailer, a Little Guy T@g. Thanks,

Current could flow through either direction of the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716 that you referenced. That being said the connector would NOT match up to the 4-way on your Jetta to the 7-way on your trailer.

You would need the part # 37185 instead. You will notice that this adapter has a socket instead of a male 7-way. This would be the configuration that would work for your application.
