Do Reese 5th Wheel Rails have a Weight Capacity Rating
Question:
I just installed my reese 50066-58 rail kit and I have a pullrite super glide 16k hitch on top. I looked all over for the weight rating of the rail kit. Is it 16k, 18k cant find the answer even on the reese website.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The rails do not have a rating. Basically, Reese states they are rated for whatever the towing capacity of the truck is. That is partially why the same rails are recommend for everything from a 15K hitch up to a 24K hitch. They are more than strong enough for use with a 16K hitch.
