Is it Okay to Install Fuse and Relay to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Circuit on 2015 Ford F-150
Question:
2015 Ford 150 with factory 7 pole trailer plug. Tested with meter and does not have power to the live 12v terminal. Checked fuse box and there is no fuse in the position the book says there should be for charging trailer battery as well as no relay in position for it either. Is this a factory goof up? What you think? An I doing something wrong? Thanks

You are absolutely on the right track. Sometimes vehicles don't have the 12 volt circuit active on the 7-way since not every trailer needs this circuit. Typically GM trucks though.
All you need to do is install the missing fuse and relay and you would be good to go.
