Can Scissor Jacks be Added to a 2014 Avalanche 361TG to Make a 6-Point Stabilizing System
Question:
I have a 2014 Avalanche 361TG. The electric stabilizer jacks that are stock on this rig dont do a very good job of actually stabilizing. The 5th wheel still shakes a fair amount even with X chocks between both sides of the tires. I was thinking of installing these behind my tires to give myself a manual version of a 6 point leveling system. At minimum would these help to finally stabilize my rig?

If the movement you feel in your 2014 Avalanche is side to side then yes; using scissor jacks such as # UF48-979002 will help with the side to side movement. The more you use the more stable it will be. They might help if the issue is front to back movement but they will primarily help with side to side movement.
Once you have the rig stable you may find that you will need to make some slight adjustments to all of the jacks after being parked for a while due to the weight of the rig pushing into the ground some.
