Does the Freewheeling Mode of the Dutton-Lainson Freewheeling Brake Winch # DL14993 Turn Handle
Question:
Is this the same as using aclutch to allo the drumm to turn freely ? Can I , in free wheeling, manually pull th ewire to approach part to be pulled, without haven to turn the handle ?

When in free wheel mode the drum of the Dutton-Lainson Freewheeling Brake Winch # DL14993 will turn without the handle turning. If you check out the review video I attached around the 2:00 mark you can see how the freewheeling option works.
