Where is the Width of # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K Measured at
Question:
This looks like the perfect hub / drum for me except I just want to be sure of the measurements the inside of my drum surface is 2 5/8 . Does the 2 1/4 mean the width of the brake pad? I have an 87foot Dual axle metalcraft boat trailer Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The width of the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K that you referenced that comes in at 2-1/4 inches is the width where the shoe would touch the drum. If yours overall is 2-5/8 inches including the backing plate then this is the correct fit.
I attached a picture that shows this measurement as well.
