Distance From Center of Hitch Pin Hole to Anti-Rattle Device on Fastway Adjustable Ball Mounts

RE: Fastway Ball Mount - DTSTBM6800. Distance from center of hitch pin hole to anti-rattle pin. My Jeep Grand Cherokee receiver only has 2inch from the center of the hitch pin hole to the opening of the receiver. Will 2inch be long enough for the anti-rattle pin to tighten to?

On the Solid-Tow Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount # DTSTBM6800 it measures 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the anti-rattle pin on top of the shank.
That would mean half of it would make contact with your hitch and the other half would outside of the hitch opening since your hitch pin is 2 inches from the center of it's hitch pin to the end of the hitch opening. This would be enough for it to still function.
