wondering if I put factory crossbars from my 2016 explorer in will the Thule XL box fit?

Great news! There are Thule boxes that will fit your 2016 Ford Explorer with factory roof rack and crossbar are the following:
Thule Force XT # TH6358B
The Thule Alpine # TH613, you were looking at, is also a confirmed fit but is considered a medium sized rooftop box.
