What are the Functions of the Wires of a Trailer Taillight that Has Red, White and Black Wires
Question:
I am rewiring a car trailer that the loose burnt up on. I am putting optronics tail lites in. These lights have 3bullet type connectors and the plug has a white, a black, and a red wire. Can you tell me where the wires go? I.e. is black or white ground

For trailer taillights that have the three wire colors you mentioned the white wire is the ground, the black is the taillight and the red is the turn signal/brake light.
