Can Ultra-Fab Carrier be Used on a 2012 Nissan Xterra with Hidden Hitch Installed
Question:
I purchased a Hidden Hitch from you guys a couple months back for my 2012 Nissan Xterra. 70760 I am looking into possibly purchasing a motorcycle receiver hitch: UF48-979033 I noticed the tongue weight which I believe is what I need to go by is 350 lbs for that particular hitch. My bike weight is stated to be 285 lbs wet and that carrier looks to be about 50 lbs. Would that still be considered a safe load weight so close to the max tongue weight or would I start having handling problems or other issues at that weight on the hitch? Thanks

It would be cutting it pretty close. But the hitch you have installed on your 2012 Nissan Xterra has a 350 lb capacity and with your bike and the # UF48-979033 you would have a total of 335 lbs which would be safe since it is under the capacity. Assuming your Xterra is able to handle the weight. You should verify with your owner's manual.
Rear suspension enhancement like the part # SSR-210-40 which is a fit for your vehicle would be a great choice to help fight sag.
