Good news, from my research it appears that the Badlands Winch 61383 has a mounting bolt pattern of 3 inches x 4-7/8 inches which will fit the mounting hole pattern of the Bulldog ATV Winch Mount # BDW15181 you were looking at. The Bulldog ATV winch is confirmed to fit the 2016 Honda Rancher 420.

Since you didn't tell me the specific model you were referring to, you will want to check the bolt hole mounting pattern to be for certain.
