How to Find Factory Setting for Curt Friction Sway Control 17200
Question:
I have a flat bar friction bar and the bottom bolt has been scewed in and out a bunch of times. How could I set it to factory settings so I have a good starting point to set it up for my application. Thanks

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that there really isn't a factory preset tension that the # 17200 will have. But in your case for a great starting point you will want to loosen the tension bolt till it no longer makes contact with the unit, now tighten it up right till the unit starts to make contact. From there tighten it two complete revolutions and you will have a great starting point.
