2016 F150 3.5l ecoboost Which part number and which filter size should I use? Any recommendations for mounting location?

Expert Reply:
Your 2016 Ford F-150 with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost motor uses an oil filter with 22mm x 1.5mm threads and a 2-3/4 inch diameter O-ring so you can use Derale Dual Mount Oil Filter Relocation Kit # D15749. It takes filters that use 3/4"-16 threads such as the following:
AC, PF2
Fram, PH8A
Motorcraft, FL1A
Purolator, PER1A
As far as where to mount it anywhere that has the space and is easily accessible for you. I know that is not really an exact location but those are usually what people look for when mounting kits like this. Look under the hood and try to find a good place that meets that criteria. I have linked the installation instructions for you as well.
