How do I Install My Above Bed Fifth Wheel on my 2016 Ford F-250 with Fifth Wheel Package
Question:
I have a 2004 Reese Part#30056 hitch. It came off of a 1999 F250. I want to mount it on a 2016 Ford F250 with 5th wheel prep package. What do I need to mount it? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty comes equipped with Below Bed Rails in order to install a fifth wheel hitch. However, your current Reese hitch is an Above Bed Rail hitch. Because of this, in order to use your existing hitch with your new truck you will need a Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156.
I've attached a video review of the adapter for you to take a look at.
