Question:

I have a 2005 k-z sportsman sportster 25foot 5th wheel toy hauler, I want to be able to pull my boat behind it, do you have any info on whats the best hitch and set-up I can use on this style camper? Thanks.

We offer both frame-mount and bumper-mount hitches for trailers and all such items can be seen on the linked page. Frame-mount hitches like # C13701 will generally offer higher capacity than the bumper-mount variety like # C19101.

Towing a trailer with another trailer is not recommended by many trailer makers and it may also be illegal in some states/provinces. Before installing any hitch on your toy hauler you will want to contact the manufacturer with your trailer's VIN. This will enable them to tell you what towing capacity the trailer frame has, if any. In some cases a trailer maker may specify that only their own factory installed hitches can safely tow. You will also want to inquire about laws regarding trailers towing trailers in the areas you would be travelling.
