Platform Rack Recommendation for 2011 Ford Escape with 2 inch Hitch
Question:
We have 2 older style cruiser bikes with fenders, a Huffy ladies 29inch and a Kent mens 26. The Escape is equipped with a 2inch class 3 hitch. We prefer a platform style rack as it seems the most secure. Ive seen bikes along the highway and do not want that experience. Our travels would be on both country roads and interstates. I had hoped to stay below $300. The style bikes and weight seems to be an issue. Please advise, Im ready to order. Thanks

We have just what you need. For a bike rack that is priced under your range that will work well with your bikes that have fenders and provides a stable ride quality I would recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider part # HR1450Z that you referenced.
