Will Fantastic Vent Cover Hold Up Over Winter

How will fantastic fan hold up uncovered in winter storage? Will plastic lid crackers under cold and ice?

In general the vent covers for the roof vents like part # FV802250 hold up just fine but after several years of sun and weather exposure they will need to be replaced. These covers are designed to resist this about as much as plastic can, but eventually they all need to be replaced.
