Ford Focus 3 Door Hatch Bike Rack Recommendation

Hello, I am interested in a 2 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount for Ford Focus 3 hatchback. So please tell me what are all or some of the possibilities models you have? For Ford Focus Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount I would like to know if the boot door can be open with the carrier mounted. Thank you

I have a trunk mounted bike rack that is a fit for your 2014 Ford Focus 3-door hatch, but you should note that you can't ever open the rear door of a vehicle with a trunk rack installed. The weight of the rack would make holding the door open unstable and difficult as well as the hooks of the rack could damage the door frame if the door pinned it against it.

The only trunk rack we have for your vehicle is the Hollywood Racks Over the Top part # HRF2. I attached a review video for this rack as well.

A better solution for you is going to be a hitch mounted option that can tilt away with bikes loaded like the Kuat Transfer part # KU74FR. I attached a review video for this as well.

For a hitch you would then want the Curt hitch # C11158 which is a confirmed fit.

If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes, you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
