Does Cooling Modifications Required to Install Base Plate on a 2016 Chevy Sonic Affect Cooling

Question:

1 I have a 2016 Sonic LTZ and watched your installation instructions EZ4 and EZ5 and noticed the baseplate covers some of the cooling system intake on the 1.4 engine. Also the instructions call for removal of the cooling system shroud and relocation of the ambient temp sensor. Will those changes interfere with engine cooling? 2 I also looked at the Blue Ox installations instructions and noticed it required cutting into the frame, shroud and fog lights. Is this also required for the Roadmaster EZ4 and EZ5? 3 I did not see a baseplate from Demco for the Sonic. I may have a few more questions but thanks for the great installation videos.

There are some minor modifications needed to install the base plates for the 2016 Chevy Sonic like the part # 523173-4 and # 523173-5. Roadmaster has tested the vehicles thoroughly after making these modifications to determine that there was no adverse affect on the vehicles.

Some holes need to be enlarged on the bumper, but there is no frame modifying to install the Roadmaster base plates.
