Will a 3,500 Pound Capacity Electric Jack Work Well on 7,500 Pound Travel Trailer
Question:
power jack electric 3500 pounds rating good for 7500 pound travel trailer

Expert Reply:
You can use a 3,500 pound capacity electric A-frame jack for your 7,500 pound travel trailer. The jack capacity does not need to match the weight of the trailer since the jack will not be lifting the weight of the entire trailer, only the trailer's weight at the tongue.
Our most popular 3,500 pound A-frame electric jack is the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack with 23 inch Lift # JET-3755. I've attached a review video of this jack for you.
If you're concerned about the 3,500 pound capacity, it is always okay to use a larger capacity jack, such as the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack, Item # JET-5000. The extra capacity, 5, 000 lbs, will allow the jack to get the job done with ease. This will make it work faster and last longer.
