Fifth Wheel Hitch Mounting Brackets for 2016 Ram 1500 Short Bed
Question:
I have a 2016 Ram 1500 extended cab with a 6foot bed. I also have a Reese 16K slider hitch and the rails to mount in the bed. I want to purchase the mounting hardware including any special brackets and bolts/nuts/washers required.

The recommended frame brackets for your 2016 Ram 1500 are part # RP50142. The bracket kit includes the hardware to attach the brackets to the frame, but the hardware to attach the hitch mounting rails in the bed to the frame brackets is sold separately as part # RP58430. The hardware is meant to be used one time only, I wouldn't recommend reusing your old hardware.
To install a 7-way trailer connector in your truck bed, use part # 41157.
