Wheel and Tire Recommendation for Trailer with ST225/75R15 with 5 on 4-1/2 inch Bolt Pattern

Question:

looking for a spare tire st 225 r 75 15 . can i use a bias tire in case of a flat, or do i need a steel belt tire.. also need rim 5 on 4 1/2 ,, what do you carry , i have a spare now that is a steel belt i want to travel with 2 spares thanks

Based on the tire size you listed you have a radial version of the trailer tire size 225/75-15 on your trailer currently so that is what I would recommend you stick with as that will give you the most consistent ride quality.

For a wheel and tire in this size with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern I would recommend the part # AM32545 as it is priced great and it has an 81 mph speed rating.
