Recommended Trunk-Mount Bike Carrier For 2006 Kia Optima

which bike rack would be best fora 2006 kia optima? i would be carrying 2 kids or 2 adult bikes different times. thanks

For a cost-effective bike carrier I recommend the Thule Passage, part # TH910XT. This bike rack has a weight capacity of 35-lbs for each bike and the carrier folds down for easy storage when not in use. This bike rack has anti-sway cradles that help keep the bikes from banging into each other.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
