Solution for Lifting Heavy Basement Door

Question:

Do you have a gas or spring loaded hinge that would make it easier to lift a basement door that has bee built in the floor. It could weigh between 50-75+ pounds and is impossible for a normal woman or man to lift.

You could use a trailer ramp spring like the part # 362SW61. Normally this mounts to the top of an enclosed trailer above the ramp and is used to help lift and lower the door. It is rated for a 120 lb capacity.
