How to Pick Out Replacement Landing Gear for a 2002 Carriage by Cameo F34CK3
Question:
Hello, I have a 2002 carriage by cameo F34CK3. I need to fix/replace my front landing gear. 1. Do you know what landing gear came stock in my 5th wheel and if so do you have a replacement that will use the existing brackets so I dont have to do any welding? Essentially just unbolt the old ones and bolt in the new ones 2. Do you have a kingpin stabilizer or jack that will support the tongue weight of my trailer while I switch out my landing gear?

In order to pick out a direct replacement for the landing gear on your 2002 Carriage by Cameo F34CK3 we would need to know the distance between the mounting brackets. Otherwise you could just have the brackets removed from your trailer by a qualified welder and then install the brackets that come with the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162. Either way this landing gear set would work well for you, you just might have to have the brackets of your trailer removed and then install the brackets of the # BD500162.
The jacks would be the correct replacement for Lippert, Venture, and Atwood landing gear, as well as those from a few other manufacturers. The sure way to tell is that if the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket) is 17-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine.
If your frame clamps are instead 20-1/4 inches the Ultra Fab part # UF17-943010 would be a direct replacement.
I attached a link to a page that has all of the fifth wheel tripods we carry. You would need to check the link out and pick the one that has the correct height range for your trailer.
