7-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for 2008 Hummer H3 Towing Boat Trailer
Question:
I have an h3 Hummer 2008 and we bought a new boat. It has a 5way flat connector with white, green, blue, brown and yellow wire leads but the 7 pole connector I have has slots for red and black wires not a yellow one. Do I need a different connector pole or will it work if I use the black or red port for the yellow wire?

Expert Reply:
The adapter you need is the part # A75TB which will convert the 7-way of your H3 to a 5-way so that you can connect to your trailer with a 5-way and all of the circuits needed will be active.
