Recommended Roof Rack for 2013 Toyota Venza with Factory Raised Side Rails
Question:
2013 Toyota Venza w/ factory installed roof rack issues. Crossbars screw into solid rails. Unfortunatly, crossbar clearance from bottom of bars to roof is only 1.25 inch. Therefore, not able to fit very much of anything underneath, including a clamp for bike carrier. Ive tried multiple! There are no openings to wrap or clamp onto, only two holes per each crossbar end to enter screw. Aware of any crossbars that will install into existing rails? Very Interested! PLEASE HELP!

Don't worry, I can help. According to SportRack the # SR1098 will be a fit your raised side rails without openings. This will raise the height of the crossbar so that your bike rack will have more clearance.
There is one fitment note that indicates that your factory crossbars are required for transporting boxes and bags.
