Recommended Bike Rack for 3 Bikes
Question:
I am looking for a 3-bike rack for a 2hitch... for myself and 2 kids. Basically, two 24inch bikes and one 27 1/2inch with no cross bar. What is the best option for me? I would take a 4-bike rack if that is the best option. Thanks!

I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR for carrying your bikes. This bike rack fits on any 2" or 1-1/4" hitch. The Hitching Post Pro is made for 4 bikes which I recommend for you because loading three bikes is always easier on a rack that carries four bikes because there is extra room. When the bikes are not mounted, this bike rack can tilt down for easy access to the trunk and the arms can fold down for better rear clearance when driving around town.
The Hitching Post Pro is constructed from high-strength aluminum and steel and your bikes sit in cushioned no-sway cages to prevent sway and bike-to-bike contact.
When carrying your bike without the top horizontal cross tube, I recommend a bike adapter bar similar to # 64005 to make mounting bikes easier. The arm width for the Thule Hitching Post Pro is 12-3/8" long. If your children's bikes top tube length is shorter than 12-3/8", I recommend using a bike adapter bar for their bikes as well.
I attached a review video of the Hitching Post you may want to check out. I also attached a demonstration video of the bike adapter bar you may find helpful.
