What Size Wrenches are Needed to Install Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter

Where do I find square headed socket and what size is it?

Expert Reply:
Convert-A-Ball recommend using a large crescent wrench to tighten the large square head bolts on the 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter # CAB-C5G. I tested the bolt and a 3/4 inch wrench will also fit. But a 3/4 inch socket will not fit, nor will a 7/8. The regular hex jam nuts that are also on those bolts take a 1-1/8 inch wrench.
