FIFTH WHEEL, IF NEEDS ARISE?? CAN YOU QUOTE PRICES TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS? THEIR ARE NO VISIBLE HOLES IN MY BED?? SLIDING IF NECESSARY?? OFFSET?? SKID PLATES INTERFERANCE??

For your 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 with a short bed and no factory rail kit you are going to want the B and W Turnover Ball part # BWGNRK1016 as this is a 30k gooseneck hitch confirmed to fit your truck.

There is not drilling required to install this hitch either. The B and W hitches are considered by many to be the nicest hitches around. I recommend this setup for you highly.

Then if you wanted a slider hitch to fit this hitch you would want the # BWRVK3400 as well.
