Replacement Inner Slide Assembly for a Dico Model 10 Actuator

Question:

Replacement Inner Slide Assembly with Coupler for Titan Actuator Code: T2478300183 Price: I have a DICO CO INC -MODEL 10 SURGE-O-MATIC BRAKE ACTUALTOR - 10,000 LBS GROSS LOAD CAP 8,000 LBS TONGUE LOAD CAP for Drum Brakes OTHER INFO: TITAN NO 17550 - 2 5/16 BALL 6AE NO4 That needs a new plated slide assembly with like is shown on the above part code:T2478300183...Is this the proper replacement part for my application? Is this a simple remove old one replace new one? do the old top and side slide bearings transfer to the new part? what is the cost of new slide bearings? Reason for replacement is latch assembly compromised, will not latch securely without a 1/4 inch bolt/nut ed in latch instead of nothing...could pop loose otherwise...slight bending of ball receiver causes this condition and would be the reason to replace the slider/ 2 5/16inch ball part. Please help...

For your Dico Model 10 actuator the Titan replacement Inner Slide Assembly # T2478300183 is going to be exactly what you will need. It is recommended that you install new slide bearings as well so for that you would need part # T1020900.

I attached a diagram that shows an exploded view of a Model 10 actuator for you to use as a guide when taking everything apart and putting it back together.
