Can TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension Work With Trailer Hitch Already Installed On 2006 Ford Truck
Question:
Im refurbishing a 20 year old truck camper and need a 4ft extension. I watched the super truss video and wondered if I can use that without giving up by 2inch hitch? Can the bottom support tube be tightened down without being in a double hitch? I plan on towing a 5x10 flat trailer with one ATV 1500 lbs maybe with light tongue weight. Or do you think your rough 2inch tube would suffice? Thanks for your great site and service.

The TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension, part # TLE1548 is designed to work with the SuperHitch original, Magnum, or Hero trailer hitches. using the extension in any other manner or without a second receiver tube would void the warranty and may cause an unsafe condition and I cannot recommend doing that.
If you wan to put the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch on your truck you can use part # TLF1002. This is a Class V trailer hitch that has dual 2-inch receivers. You can then use the # TLE1548 extension.
