Can Friction Sway Control Be Used with Dual Cam Sway Control
Question:
Hello I would like to know if I can use a friction sway bar with a dual cam lock system. The reason Im asking is I just put new tires on that were rated properly for towing but they seem to be giving more than my other ones did and I dont like the little bit of sway im getting.

Expert Reply:
You cannot use friction sway control with Dual Cam sway control. The two sets of brackets would interfere with each other. What is most likely going on is that your new tires are not inflated to the max psi rating that is listed on the sidewall.
Be sure to keep your trailer tires inflated to the max PSI at all times to ensure you get the full capacity and prevent sway.
