The best way to confirm the presence and location of a brake controller installation port in your 2006 Holiday Rambler Ambassador is to provide the coach's VIN to the manufacturer so that they can confirm which model year of base chassis was used to build it and where the port is located. A 2006 RV could have been built on either a 2005 or 2006 chassis so it is best to confirm.
On some Holiday Ramblers the wiring port for a trailer brake controller can be found under the left side control panel next to the driver's seat. The four wires should be +12V (black), brake switch signal (red), brake output (blue) and ground (white). On others it can be located under the left side of the dash and labeled "Brake" with 6 wires.
Once you're ready for a controller I suggest you consider either the prodigy P2 # 90885 or the enhanced P3 # 90195, which offer the best performance in an aftermarket controller for either electric trailer brakes or electric-over-hydraulic brakes.
