Recommended Trailer Hitch And Cargo Carrier For 21-Ft Komfort Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 21foot Komfort Travel Trailer. I am interested in a frame mount trailer hitch to accommodate a 150 -200 lb Champion dual fuel generator. Would you recommend your C13701 Curt? Is there a difference between that one and the 13701 on theIr website? Plan on welding it to the inside of the frame. I believe the 2inch will get below the aluminum rear bumper.

The # C13701 on our website and 13701 on Curt's website are one and the same receivers.

It is designed for trailer frames between 18 and 51 inches wide. This Class lll hitch will work with box frame, C-Channel frame, or I-Beam frames. This hitch has a 2-inch drop and has a 2 inch receiver opening. Typically this is a bolt on installation. If you decide to have it welded you should use an experienced professional to do this.

If your frame is wider than 51 inches you can check out part # UF35-946403. This is designed to fit -beam, C-channel or rectangular trailer frames between 47-1/8 to 77 inches wide and is a weld-on installation.
