How to Reduce Sag when Towing with a 2006 Nissan Murano

I have a solution for you, however, we do not carry a hitch that will work with a weight distribution system for your 2006 Nissan Murano. What you can do is look into a rear suspension enhancement system. While this will not distribute the weight like a weight distribution system, it will reduce sag and level your vehicle when towing.

I recommend the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Rear Springs # AL60774. This system will fit on your 2006 Nissan Murano and will keep your vehicle level when towing a trailer. These air springs allow you to adjust the amount of air pressure in them so you can have an even load distribution whether or not you are towing.

To make adjusting the air springs easier, I recommend an on-board Air Lift Load Controller Air Compressor # AL25651. This compressor allows you to inflate or deflate your suspension enhancement system wherever you are instead of having to always be at home or a gas station to adjust them.

While we do not have a hitch rated for weight distribution for your 2006 Nissan Murano, I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75148 for your vehicle. This hitch will fit with the suspension system I recommended and has a maximum GTW of 3,500 lbs. and TW of 350 lbs. I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch over the Curt Hitch for your vehicle because the Curt hitch requires stabilizing straps for all non-trailer loads. You will not be limited by the towing capacity of your vehicle with this hitch because your 2006 Nissan Murano has a GTW of 3,500 lbs. and TW of 350 lbs. as well.
