Since the Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier, part # M2205-01-02 is designed for 2-inch trailer hitches that is the first thing you will need to make sure you have. I have attached a link to the hitches we offer if you need to install one.
The # M2205-01-02 measures 48-3/4 inches long x 24 inches wide x 22 inches tall and has 13.1/4 cu ft of storage with a weight capacity of 450-lbs. The carrier weighs 54 lbs. You will want to check the weight capacity of your Flex. When calculating the tongue weight you need to add the weight of the carrier to any cargo you plan to carry.
I have attached a chart I found in the owner's manual for your vehicle. Tongue weight should be between 10 and 15 percent of the towing capacity for a vehicle so you can use the chart to determine what your towing capacity is. Or you can contact the dealership and with the VIN they can tell you what the capacity is of your Flex.
