Do Standard Hitch Pins Work with Hitch Mounted Winches

Locking receiver pin for 12000 pound winch mount I am looking for a receiver pin that locks and will withstand a lot of stress

I spoke with my contact at Superwinch and he informed me that a standard hitch pin would work well for you. They (and us), have never heard of a standard hitch pin breaking from the stress of being used with a hitch mounted winch.
Our most popular hitch lock that would fit and work well is part # e98882 which would be a great option. This lock is made of stainless steel so it is incredibly strong. I attached a review video for the lock for you to check out as well.
