Can the 66 Inch Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring 362SW61 be Trimmed to Fit a 58 Inch Wide Trailer

My trailer is around 58inch wide. It look like all i have to do is cut the shaft shorter to make it work. is that correct?

Yes, you are right! You can trim down the shaft on trailer ramp spring # 362SW61 in order for it to fit your 58 inch wide trailer. It can be trimmed down to 48 inches long. I have included a link to a video review of this spring for you.
