Recommended Brake Controller for 2016 Ford F-150 with Factory 7-Way
Question:
I purchased a 2016 Ford F-150 pickup. It came with tow package wire harnesses installed, 7 and 4 pin connectors at rear bumper but no integrated, into dash, brake controller in cab. Would you have one available?

Brake controller installation in your 2016 Ford F-150 that has a factory-installed 7-way socket will be about as easy as it gets. All you'll need are the controller unit itself, either the Prodigy P2 # 90885 or the P3 # 90195, and the quick-connect wiring adapter # 22292. The adapter plugs in to a port on the dash; this process is shown in the linked video.
The P2 and P3 are similar controllers that differ only in some of the more advanced features that are included in the P3. In terms of functionality and reliability both are excellent and are highly-rated by our customers that use them. The P3 will be easier to mount and it has a nicer display.
