Compatibility of Demco AutoSlide 5th Wheel Hitch with Valley Above-Bed Base Rails
Question:
I have a 2006 dodge shortbed. I have a husky manual slide 16k 5th wheel hitch. I have valley rails with 22inch centers. Will the demco DM8550034 autoslide hitch fit my rails? Also I have an airborne pin box. Will I need the locking plate to make this pin box work? If not which autoslide hitch will work? Thank You.

For a Demco 18K Hijacker Autoslide hitch that fits into your Valley industry-standard base rails you'll use part # DM8550034 which is shown in the linked video.
You will need a locking plate; use part # DM6026 if you have a standard 5th Airborne pin box; use part # DM6062 if you have an extended type pin box.
If you need a wiring harness you can use part # DM8555002 which plugs right in to your existing bumper-mounted 7-way.
