Yes, the term naked roof indicates that there is no factory elements present like raised side rails or tracks that run from the front to back of your vehicle. 5-door does indeed indicate the hatchback from the 4-door sedan model. 5-door would indicate that you could enter the vehicle main body through the hatch and 4-door would be that you have a standard trunk.

I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero # RRRS615. This style of crossbar is quieter and more aerodynamic than the standard square crossbar. This will be great for use with your SUP. This kit come preset to the correct length bar for your vehicle and is a snap to install with the custom fit clamps. All of the Rhino-Rack roof racks will use the same custom fit clamp kit for your Sonic, so they will all fit your vehicle in the same location and be the best fit. There are some roof racks out in the marketplace that offer a semi-custom fit, which is probably what you saw. This type of rack fit a variety of roofs with the same pad which isn't always the best or most secure route to go when transporting precious cargo, like your SUP.
