Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Towing Camper
Question:
We started towing our new camper. I feel I need more suspension in the rear of my 2010, 1500 Chevrolet 4×4. Been looking at the helpers and do no want to spend much money, best bang for the buck.

To provide some extra help to your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500's suspension, the Custom Helper Springs Kit # SSR-209-40 will work well for you. These microcellular urethane springs add support to your existing rear suspension and improve the handling and overall ride of your truck. These helper springs will also help extend the lift of your truck's suspension by giving the leaf springs extra support when needed, such as when you are towing your trailer. These springs offer a custom fit for your Silverado and will not require any drilling for installation. The installation instructions are linked to this page for you.
If you'd like to be able to customize the amount of support you are adding to your truck, an air bag kit will be the best option. Air springs allow you to customize the amount of air being added to the system to get the even load distribution and support that is needed. If you are interested in a air bag system, the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs are a great option with a more economically-friendly price tag. If your truck has an 8 foot bed, you will want # AL59567. If your truck has a shorter bed, you will want # AL59565.
