Is the Yakima Jaylow Made From Aluminum and Fit Factory Crossbars of 2010 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
I will not buy roof racks or accessories that are not made out of aluminum. No matter what the finish, steel will eventually rust. Thus interested in Jaylow. Can you verify the description below? The Yakima site is silent about its construction...Lightweight aluminum with silver powder coat finish resists corrosion Also just bought the base rack for my 2010 Jetta. pic attached. I believe rack is made by Thule for VW. Please confirm Jaylow will fit. Thankyou

The Yakima Jaylow part # Y04073 that you referenced is made of aluminum that is powdercoated.
I also checked with Yakima and the carrier is confirmed as a fit for the factory crossbars of your 2010 Volkswagen Jetta.
