You cannot use any trunk mount bike rack and still have use of the rear wiper on your 2016 Subaru Forester with the bike rack installed but I do have a sure fire way that you can carry bikes and still use the rear wiper.

I recommend a trailer hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack. This will keep the bike rack and bikes off of the vehicle so neither will scratch or mar the paint on your newer Forester. You can use Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36523. This is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver so it can handle 2 bikes easily.

For a bike rack owner's of the 2016 Subaru Forester purchase the Thule Helium # TH9042PRO the most. This is my favorite bike rack because it has a killer design and is made of light weight aluminum so it weighs just 19 pounds. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
