Will Custom Towing Mirror For Toyota Tundra Fit 2002 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
I have a 02 4runner SR5 4X4 and some GEAR GRIPZ tape. Can I get the slip-on mirror for the Tundra and shim with my tape or do you recommend the 7070.

My recommendation is to use a universal fit mirror like the Clip-On Towing Mirror, part # 7070 on your 2002 4Runner.
The # CTM4000 is designed to fit specific year and models and installing this on a vehicle it has not been tested with may result in damage to the factory mirror or the towing mirror or both. Using tape to shim the mirror would not be a great idea because eventually it will deteriorate and could allow the mirror to loosen and even fall off.
