Which Fairing Fits a Thule Square Bar Roof Rack on a 2010 Ford Fusion

I have a Ford Fusion Hybrid 2010 with square Thule bars 1. What size fairing, a 44? 2. If it sits on the sunroof, just like in the video above, does that impact the fairing usefulness or will it decrease the whistle when sunroof open? Thanks

I checked with Thule and the recommended fairing for their square bar roof rack on your 2010 Ford Fusion is # TH82WV which is the 44 inch model that you mentioned.

The vehicle in the video happens to have side rails to which the crossbars are attached. The front crossbar cannot go forward far enough for the fairing to clear the sun roof. If possible you will want to place the fairing so that it is not resting on the sun roof.

Being on the sun roof doesn't change the effectiveness of the fairing but in that situation you couldn't opening the sun roof since the fairing is in the way. And the whistle you hear from the wind rushing around the square bar will stop (or at the very least be reduced).
