From the center of the hitch pin hole on the Ultra Fab Motorcycle Carrier part # UF48-979033 to the nearest edge of the wheel tray measures 16 inches. Since the width of the track is 5 inches you would need to measure 18-1/2 inches out from the pin hole on your hitch to know where the bike would be positioned.
This will allow you to compare the width of your motorcycle handle bars to this location to know if you would have the clearance.
Basically you would subtract half of the width of your handlebars from 18-1/2 and measure that distance out from the pin hole and that's exactly where the handlebar would be when installed on the rack.
