To determine if the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR would fit your 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara you would need to just take one measurement.
You would need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 13-1/2 inches the bike rack would fit and clear the spare.
