Replacement Hitch Bolt for Yakima ROCnGate Bike Rack
Question:
I stripped the bolt while tightening. Did go on easily as usual.. I see y8780022 and y8890185 are similar. Im guessing I should replace both the bolt and the nut, along with whatever restrains the nut. What is the correct part? This is the bolt that anchors the rack to the hitch.

The correct replacement hitch bolt for your Yakima ROCn'Gate is part # Y8890200. The hitch bolt has been modified over the years to accommodate Yakima's newer bike racks, but my technical contact at Yakima assured me that this will work with the ROCn'Gate.
